The Stop Trafficking Project® educates and empowers students and adults to be safer regarding the role of social media and the internet in our daily lives, which includes the reality of Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking (DMST). During COVID-19, online enticement has increased 98.66% according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Kids. The Stop Trafficking Project® BeAlert® Strategy has now effectively reached over 121,000 people. More than 54,000 of them are students. Surveys after presentations indicate that 32% of those students are engaged in online activities that make them highly vulnerable to being exploited. Good people can't do anything until they know it exists. The Stop Trafficking Project® BeAlert® Strategy is saving lives by identifying and ending vulnerabilities in students before they can be exploited. You can BeAlert® by being Active, Learning, Empowered, Relentless, Together. Learn more at www.stoptraffickingproject.com
